There are a large number of household removal companies in South Africa – you only need look up “furniture removals” in the yellow pages of the telephone directory to see just how many. It can therefore be something of a quandary to choose the correct one. There can be a huge difference in the cost quoted as well, for example quotes for a 20 foot container from the Eastern Cape to North Carolina from two different removal companies can be as different as R41000. That’s a lot of money when you’re a family with a tight budget. How then do you choose which household removal company to go for? Some of the larger companies have developed a reputation for being impersonal or for not caring, and this is not going to help you to choose them.
