Moving Transport
Relocation to a new part of town, a different province or even a new country can be a daunting experience, something that can be made much easier for you if you have a good moving company to help you transport your belongings. Some of the larger furniture removal companies in South Africa offer a very impersonal service to their clients – we believe that our clients are of paramount importance, and we will go out of our way to assist them, whether it be just offering advice on moving transport or in helping to pack their precious belongings for storage. When you “hand over” your personal belongings to a transport and storage company, it has to be done with a lot of trust. After all, these are items that you may have collected all of your life.
Active Transport runs a familiar fleet of red and white trucks – they are mainly Nissans. Each truck, whether it is from the bottom of our range, which is the 3-tonner or the top of the range 14-ton horse and trailer, is owned by the company and kept in an excellent roadworthy condition. When you need moving transport there is therefore a large selection of trucks to choose from. Usually a truck in the 3-ton to 8-ton range is suitable moving transport for shorter moves around town, and the smaller vehicles are far more practical for accessing townhouse complexes or areas where a horse and trailer may have difficulty manoeuvring.
