Truck Hire

There are many people who would rather go in for straightforward truck hire rather than have a band of people do their packing for them. That’s fair enough. You may be the sort of person who wants to take a long time over packing rather than have a band of workers come in to do it for you. We have two truck hire options available for you. You can either make use of the fixed rate per load or you can rent for so much per kilometre per day. Our fleet of trucks ranges from a 3 ton truck, suitable for short distance moves from flat to flat, or 14 ton horse and trailer combinations. All of the trucks are closed pantechnicons. Vehicles are available from a minimum of one day to longer leased contracts.

All of our truck hire vehicles are equipped with satellite tracking and the drivers are continually in contact by cell phone. Truck hire rates include the driver, fuel and vehicle insurance. Drivers are all fully trained and have all the necessary driving licences and permits. Extra labour can be supplied at a small cost, and we can also offer you safe warehousing and storage at reasonable rates. Additional services that we offers are packing materials, the hire of blankets, trolleys and so on. Hire rates include the first 200 kms, the driver, fuel and insurance, but you’ll have to pay extra for extra crew and labour, toll gates and overtime where necessary. Contact us for more information.
