Pretoria Removals
Active Transport is actively carrying out Pretoria removals, and doing so from our headquarters in an 800m² warehouse that we use for the storage of furniture and personal belongings. The company, which was founded in 1989 by Gerhard Groenwald, operates removals in the Pretoria region. The company grew larger in 1997 with the acquisition of Mini Furniture Removals, and we moved into the new warehouse in the same year. Out transport fleet, all of which are pantechnicons, is made up of a 3-ton truck, primarily used for short distances and smaller loads, and several 14-ton horse and trailer combinations Any of these vehicles may be rented from us for the transport and delivery of manufactured goods in the Gauteng region, and we are currently contracted with several local companies to deliver such items as snooker tables and African Art and paintings.
Active Transport operates local and long distance furniture relocation, and we cover all of the countries in southern African. Each of our Pretoria removals vehicles is fitted with satellite tracking, so that we know the precise location of each vehicle at any particular instant in time.
