Active Transport are South African movers based in Pretoria. The company was founded back in 1989 by Gerhard Groenwald, and in 1996 acquired Mini Furniture Removals in a move to expand the company. In the following year the company moved into a new 800m² warehouse, from which we still operate. This storage warehouse conforms entirely with all Insurance specifications and has 24 hour security with a permanent link to armed response. We are not just South Africa movers, but also operate into Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia and Botswana. Anyone wanting to move between, to or from any of these areas should contact us for a quotation. We are able to give special rates for moves to Limpopo, the North West and to Cape Town.

All of our quotations are based on the actual volume of goods to be carried, the distance they are to be transported and the date of the move (mid week moves are cheaper than weekend moves, mid month moves cheaper than end-of-month moves). If you would like a quotation, please supply us with a full and detailed inventory list of items to be moved so that we can give you an accurate quotation. Please note that it may be possible to lower the cost of a move if the load is shared with another mover on a similar journey, this usually entails you being a little flexible in dates and time, but can save you considerably if you only have a small load.
