In many cases it works out far cheaper to sell your furniture in South Africa, so saving on the cost of a container, and buying afresh at your destination. A container costs many thousands of Rands, and if you do your figures carefully well in advance you may well find that you can cut the cost of long distance removals by some careful planning.
