Pretoria Moving Services

Active Transport operates one of the extremely popular and efficient Pretoria moving services, and does so from our headquarters at an 800m² warehouse that we use for the storage of furniture and personal belongings. The company has been operating moving services in the Pretoria region since it was founded in 1989 by Gerhard Groenwald. The company was expanded in 1997 with the acquisition of Mini Furniture Removals, and moved into the new warehouse in the same year. Out transport fleet, all of which are pantechnicons, comprises a 3-ton truck, primarily used for short distance smaller loads, and a number of 14-ton horse and trailer combinations. Incidentally, any of these vehicles may be rented from us for the transport and delivery of manufactured goods in the Gauteng region, and we are currently contracted to deliver such items as snooker tables and African Art and paintings.

Active Transport operates the usual local and long distance furniture relocation, and we cover all of the southern African countries in this part of the Continent. All of our Pretoria moving services vehicles is fitted with satellite tracking, letting us know the exact location of every vehicle at any particular instant in time.
