Office MovingMaybe as much as 20% of business leases terminate every year. This gives many companies an ideal opportunity of relocating their business to another premises – usually (though not always) larger. There are a number of things that have to be taken into consideration when office moving. Many of these considerations have to do with the office space into which the move is to be made. You first of all need to make a detailed scale plane of the new premises and of all the office furniture that is to be relocated. Check out the building well before the day of the move. It may need alterations done to it before the move is made. You will also need to make sure that the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning are in working state, that the telephone company is ready to switch on your numbers at the new location and that all of the office cabling for telephones and networks is finalized. Office moving takes planning and patience, and when the time come for the actual physical move, you need an experienced company to carry it out. It is actually possible, if everything is planned beforehand, to finish off a normal day’s work in your old premises at the normal time and have everyone turn up for work in the new premises with everything up and running by the normal work time the next morning – even for a large office.
