Truck hire can be an attractive option, but think first.In these financially stressed times we’re all on the lookout for ways to save some cash. Many of the larger heavy duty trucks require special license to operate. Your code 08 license is simply not going to be good enough. This means that you will have to hire a driver for moving day which is going to add to the expense. Also take into account that if you live in a complex that has an arched entrance it is possible that the larger moving vans will not be able to park directly outside your home. This will mean that you will have to hire an additional vehicle to ferry your household belongings to the moving truck, another added expense. When you take into account the added expenses that come on top of the initial truck hire then your decision will be made extremely simple, is it worth the heavy lifting and hassle that comes with truck hire. If your young and fit and happen to have access to a driver with the right license then it’s possible to save a large amount of money during the moving process. However, if you think that truck hire sounds like a lot of trouble for the saving of a fairly insignificant amount of cash then perhaps you’re better of leaving it to the professionals.
